Join us for a two-day hands-on lifestyle workshop series featuring natural soap making and fragrance-based crafts, hosted by Rustic Farm presented by Moonstar Shoes at Hightide Store DTLA. Japanese tea by Susumuya will be served during the workshops, introduced by Toku Agency.

Kitchen-shelf cooking oils become soap. A hands-on workshop to learn how soap is made— and to make with care for our skin, shoes, clothes, and the planet. Biodegradable handmade soap returns gently to water and soil, supporting the natural cycles of everyday living.

Kids & beginners friendly
A simple melt-and-pour soap making workshop for beginners.
Traditional soap making includes steps that require careful handling. In this class, those steps are already completed—making it safe and welcoming for children to join. We’ll work with clear glycerin soap, adding color and small decorative elements to create your own one-of-a-kind soap. Once you take it home, it will finish setting quickly and can be used right away. The items placed inside the soap are compostable or made of glass and ceramic beads, so even after the soap is gone, they can be reused as small accessories.
